Welcome Texas General Store – killer barbecue, vintage bar, bingo nights and live music in a casual western honky tonk atmosphere. Texas Register of Historic gems.

ROUND TOP, TX (26 mins)

Annual Round Top Antique Show – Spring and Fall dates bring miles and miles of antique vendors and incredible shopping opportunities for “Antique Week”, while Winter brings a smaller local show for a weekend. Field shopping in Warrenton offers some great deals.

Henkel Square – A collection of amazing eateries, antique shops, boutiques and bars for a one stop taste of Round Top year round. (some businesses open Thurs- Sun only to check ahead) Our faves on the square?

  • Lulu’s – amazing italian cuisine and weekend brunch with a great bar and gorgeous atmosphere (reservations suggested)
  • Round Top Antique & Design Center – multiple antique, decor and gift vendors in one location
  • Ellis Motel – Not an actual motel, but a fun little cocktail spot and dive bar. Be sure to explore the rooms and check out the decor. Outdoor seating as well.
  • Southern Beasts – one of a kind eccentric animals covered in vintage tapestry, needlepoint, and fabrics
  • Round Top Smokehouse – really delicious barbecue, with a little “Asian twist.” Sells out early so don’t wait.
  • Royer’s Pie Haven – pies whole or sliced, coffee and other goodness

The Original Mandito’s – classic tex-mex and margaritas (ooooh those ritas!)

The Garden Company – classic, flavorful menu with a great selection of wine and cocktails to boot. The pork chop is to die for, just sayin’. Brunch, Lunch and Dinner.

Market Hill – antiques and decor from multiple dealer, plus DUO modern restaurant tucked inside (DUO gets a little crazy at peak times so be prepared to wait)

Junk Gypsy Company – an experience in eclectic clothing, decor and gifts

BELLVILLE, TX (11 mins)

Twenty Two North Hollandchef owned and operated farm to table cuisine with daily menu – reservations recommended

Farmacy Revolution – Soy candles, handmade soaps, bath and skincare products

The Gathery – hometown breakfast, lunch and coffee spot

Huff Brewing Co. – small town brewery and pub

KENNEY, TX (12 mins)

The Kenney Store – 130 year old honky tonk and bar. Live music, simple menu, great atmosphere.

BRENHAM, TX (16 mins)

Blue Bell Creamery – because everybody loves the nation’s best ice cream and it all started in Brenham

Floyd’s Lounge – great little wine, beer and cocktail bar with a nice selection of shareable bites and snacks – live music some nights

Las Americas Latin Cuisine – best South American menu in the area – unique flavors, casual

Revival Mercantile – vintage goods and gifts. Lots of handmade and handpicked items Super cool building.

Mescalito Coffee – coffee bar, pastries and ice cream. Cute atmosphere and adjoining shop.

Main Street Uncorked – known for martinis and wine selection – lovely fireplace and heaters on the patio

1844 Liquor Market – unique little liquor shop for specialty items and “the basics”

Tabu Tacos & Burgers – lots of taco options and good burgers in a casual atmosphere

BURTON, TX (24 mins)

Blue Willow Cafe – the absolute best breakfast in a 30 mile radius – great lunch too – but only open Fri-Sun so plan ahead
